CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Albendazole 300mg bolus with its low solubility. limited amount of the given dose of Albendazole It Absorbed from the stomach and intestine Howes et.. once the drum is absorbed peak plasma kid can occur in 2-4 hours The plasma level is seldom greater than l’a of the dose administered because of its relatively low solubility. Albendazole is slowly excreted
INDICATIONS
It is a broad spectrum anthelmntic used in the control and treatment of gastro-internal Roundworms& Tapeworms Lung worms and Liver flukes in sheep and goats It is also ovicidal and will kill worm and fluke eggs in animals
ADMINISTRATION
Albendazole 100rng Bolus is administered orally either directly to, hand or by means of a bolus gun,
It can also be handled as a drench after crushing and mixing with a little water
DOSAGE
Worm Dose: 7.5 mg of Albendazole per kg body weight.
Fluke Dose: 10 mg Albendazole per kg body weight.
Do not exceed the stated dose.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat 14 days
Milk 3 days
PRECAUTIONS
It should not be used in animals at mating or during early pregnancy
Wash hands after administering the treatment.
The product should not be handled by pregnant women.
Keep the drug out of reach of children.
